- How to cultivate bodhicitta, the "spirit-engine" of enlightenment that allows us to embody and actively practice the Buddha's teachings in the real world.
- How to actively practice the ten paramitas
(transcendental virtues) in daily life: Generosity, ethics, patience,
energetic effort, meditation, wisdom, skillful means, higher
aspiration, powers, and pristine awareness
- Inspirational
lessons from Lama Surya Das' personal teachers, including The Dalai
Lama plus contemporary examples of enlightened action based on the
realization of the oneness of life.
