Featuring the work of Prema Dasara and the worlwide community of Tara Dhatu Dancing the 21 Qualities of Tara -- This video guides the viewer through a complete dance practice of the Goddess Tara. The simple movements of the dance are based on the essence of the 21 Praises of Tara. This dance is taught as an introduction to the Mandala Dance of the 21 Praises. Skillfully produced by Anahata Iradah, it is a kaleidoscope of dancing women, men and children from all over the world, led through the ritual of the dance. Inspiring! Liberating! Empowering!

Prema Dasara, Anahata Iradah, Andrea Abinanti and the Nuns of Kopan

This film shows the entire ritual offering of the Mandala Dance of the 21 Praises of Tara featuring the Dancing Nuns of Kopan, It was recorded on Dakini Day October 2004 in the Shrine room of the Kopan Nunnery in Kathmandu, Nepal. Prema and Andrea led the nuns and a small group of Western Tara Dancers in a week of retreat. Anahata Iradah trained a group of nuns in the music of the dance and supervised this two camera shoot. At the culmination of the retreat the dance was offered to the entire monastic community, presided by the abbot, Lama Lhundrup.
