The Heart Sutra is one of the most famous texts of Buddhism. Here Shakyamuni Buddha, the bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara and Shariputra together with Prajnaparamita, the Mother of all Buddhas reveal to us the wisdom that views phenomena as they are. Bokar Rinpoche penetrates the essence of this sutra transcending words and images.
"Although this ultimate reality can be apprehended neither from the outside by the means of conceptual representation nor transmitted to another, it can however be experienced from inside. It will rise and appear in the mind."
Bokar Rinpoche discusses anger, and its unique remedies of love, compassion and wisdom.
"Our mind has a serious sickness of aggressiveness and anger. It is necessary to extract it in order to transplant in its place, the mind of awakening."
Khenpo Donyo, offers a teaching about karma, including how it relates to the origin of the world and its interpretation, the idea of individual responsibility, an explanation of individual and collective karma, and the effect of positive and negative karma on our lives.
"Relationships between people are ruled by karmic laws, A karmic link is necessary in order to be attracted toward a person, or for two people to be attracted to each other. If this link is missing, feeling would not be established."
